Fazia algum tempo que eu não postava nenhuma música da banda The Animals. Vou postar dessa vez um grande sucesso deles. "I'ts My Life" tem uma sonoridade típica dos anos 60, com uma letra forte e cortante.

Descobri a pouco que a apresentação acima foi a estréia "visual" da canção na televisão. Ela foi ao ar no programa Hullabaloo, em outubro de 1965 . Achei bem sacada, e bem típica dos anos 60, a ideia dos "trófeus de caça" nas paredes. Se alguém repetisse a ideia em um programa, ou clipe, nos dias de hoje, choveriam reclamações de feministas. Escolhi esse vídeo (dentre todos no YouTube) pela qualidade do som e da imagem.
Minha impressão é de que eles estão tocando ao vivo. Se vocês prestarem atenção na letra abaixo (e depois ouvirem a versão gravada no single, que eu irei postar em breve), perceberão que a banda inverte os versos "I'm breakin' loose" e "It ain't no use".
